Respect Life Committee

Mission Statement:

Respect Life works to instill respect for all human life and to bring a conversion of heart and mind for all to be open to God’s special gift of life.

It is our mission to foster in our parish community an awareness of the dignity and sanctity of all human life, from conception to natural death.  We are dedicated to observing and promoting the teaching of the Roman Catholic Church on all life issues, including abortion, euthanasia, infanticide, assisted suicide and the reproductive technology industry.

October is Respect Life Month

October is Respect Life month and Sunday, October 4th, is Respect Life Sunday

During the month of October, we will be praying the rosary before the weekend Masses at 4:30pm and 8:00am.  The October intention will be the protection of human life from conception to natural death. Please join us!

If you are interested in joining the Respect Life Committee, please contact Kathy Henja at

Look for a flyer in the Oct. 4th bulletin on – “Live the Gospel of Life.”  It’s a reflection on this year’s theme and explores how Jesus becoming man and redeeming us through his humanity reveals the dignity of all human life.

As you are discerning who to vote for in the upcoming election, please consider reviewing the MCCL Voter’s Guide which is available through their website (see below Link).  This can also be picked up at a table near the church library.
