It’s always important to complete homework, and parish leaders have done theirs as they’ve looked to the future of Our Lady of the Lake.
Here are some details:
- Though our long-range planning process, we’ve identified crucial capital needs projects to keep our church and school strong: improving church and school safety; addressing church, school and PACE Center capital improvements; and establishing an endowment to address pressing capital needs for the church and school as they arise in the decades ahead.
- As you may have heard, the parish is considering a major fundraising effort to pay for all, or some, of the projects. But before we move forward, we need to hear from you. That’s why our church has decided to carry out a process called a planning study.
- The study, which starts March 18 and lasts five weeks, will involve surveying all our parishioners so we know which projects parishioners consider most important and whether we should carry out a fundraising effort.
- We will share more details about the study, the projects and potential fundraising campaign in the coming weeks. This planning study is extremely important, and I encourage everyone to participate in the survey.
