Today's economy is affecting more than just gas prices and the housing market. It is impacting parents in their day to day decisions about their children. One of these decisions can be whether to attend Our Lady of the Lake School or not. These parents have supported our school and want not only an excellent education, but also a Catholic education for their children. We think this is a very important parental choice.
Our theme this year is "OLL Measures Up". In this era of some people having less than others, it is comforting to know some are willing to share their treasure. This is where YOU come in. Can you help us by contributing to our Help A Student Program? Any amount helps.
Our Lady of the Lake School is so thankful for the support and help from OLL Parish. We depend on your generosity. One way to share your treasure and to help families experiencing hardships in paying the entire tuition is through our "Help A Student" program. Parents apply for aid through an independent organization (see PSAS on our website ourladyofthelake.com/schoolgeneralinfo). PSAS provides a comprehensive service which handles all aspects of the financial aid application and verification process. We then get a report from them and we award Help A Student aid as recommended.
You can be assured that all aid awarded is needed and appreciated. We both have personal contact with the families involved and offer support during this time of need. We wish you could hear or read the testimonials as to how the Help-A-Student funds have helped. All of us are within a heartbeat of needing help. Isn't it wonderful to know that it is available if needed?
Donations can be given during our fall "Help A Student" drive or anytime during the year. Please indicate "Help A Student" on the envelope or on the memo line of your check. Donations can be mailed to the school or dropped in the collection at Mass. |
