FEED MY STARVING CHILDREN

As stated in our Mission Statement, Our Lady of the Lake School students are called to serve God by serving others. One way in which we fulfill that call is to volunteer at Feed My Starving Children in Chanhassen. A single meal costs only 17 cents to produce, and 94 percent of total donations goes directly toward the food program. In one seesion last year, a group of our students packed 9,504 meals which will feed 26 kids for an entire year! Pretty impressive.

| January 18, 2010 is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. It is a school day ON for OLL students. It is a service day and we have reserved all shifts at FMSC. We will encourage families to volunteer together and give back to the world community. |
