Happy Catholic Schools Week!
It was great seeing so many families at Cinnamon Roll Sunday Mass and breakfast. We have lots of fun events and special days planned for the week.
It's also the beginning of third quarter. I can't believe the school year is half over already!
This week in art: Kindergarten will be doing a snow scene painting on "Ss" day. First Grade has finished their beautiful paper mosaics. They are on display in the hallway outside the first grade room. They will be enjoying winter fun day on Friday and will not have art class. Second Grade will be learning about American artist, Jim Dine, and will be constructing a collage using a watercolor heart that they painted last week. Third Grade will also be enjoying winter fun day instead of art class this week. Fourth Grade will continue to work on their Op Art Starburst Designs. Fifth Grade will also be enjoying a ski trip on winter fun day. Sixth Grade has completed their beautiful yarn paintings and have inspired by the Huichol people. Seventh Grade have completed their Fractured Drawings and will also be skiing on winter fun day.
