OLL's Mission The mission of Our Lady of the Lake School-in partnership with school families and parish community-is to provide a Christian education in the Catholic Faith.Nurturing the student's Academic, Spiritual, Physical and Emotional Growth while encouraging each student, their family, and staff member to live by Christ's example of loving service. OLL's Curriculum is designed to challenge the student's intellectual capabilities within a supportive and nurturing teaching environment. Because of small class sizes, teachers get to know the unique personalities and learning styles of each student. Teachers are given the freedom to design their class curriculum to best support the needs of their students. All students receive daily religious instruction and also attend a weekly mass. OLL's Education philosophy is grounded in the principle of educating the "total child". Our curriculum and teaching staff support all aspects of personal development - academic, spiritual, social, physical and emotional. We believe the uniqueness of each child should be considered in the classroom and our teaching staff works hard to ensure the needs of each student are met. Elementary Grades are designed as self-contained classrooms. Students are surrounded by a consistently supported environment where they can learn the academic basics in a curriculum that is challenging and comprehensive. The learning needs of each individual are varied with multiple teaching methods. Bright Beginnings Preschool offers a structured program within a caring loving atmosphere that gives children a place to grow, experience new things, and feel secure and capable in God's world. Kindergarten program offers a comprehensive all-day, everyday program  using an interdisciplinary phonetically-based educational approach. The program teaches children to feel they are special in the eyes of God and always loved. Emphasis is places on teaching students respect for themselves and others. Students learn Gospel values and teachings as they are studied in their religion classes and celebrated in worship. Middle Grades are taught by a team of teachers who stress student accountability and responsibility for their actions and decisions as a Christian. Students are educated through a well-rounded academic curriculum that challenges them to expand their intellectual capacity. The message of Christ, the traditions of Catholic faith, and service to the community are priorities in the middle school curriculum.
